Biography
Dr. Michael Schwartz is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical experience. He practices at Pasadena Plastic Surgery, serving patients in Pasadena and the greater Los Angeles area.
Dr. Schwartz earned his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed residency training at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center. He went on to complete a five-year fellowship in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery at USC. He is certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology.
In the 1990s, Dr. Schwartz was among the first cosmetic surgeons in Los Angeles to study and perform the tumescent technique of liposuction and liposculpture. He was also an early pioneer of Smartlipo® laser technology and has continued advanced training in VASER Hi-Def liposuction and body contouring procedures.
Known for meticulous technique and natural-looking outcomes, Dr. Schwartz tailors each procedure to the individual, emphasizing refined contouring and careful surgical closure techniques.
