Biography
Dr. Max Sirota Toporek is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in advanced lipedema care with international training across Israel, Germany, Spain, France, and Mexico. His global experience has shaped a multidisciplinary approach to lipedema treatment, blending surgical precision with comprehensive, patient-centered care.
He completed his medical training at Universidad Panamericana and specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. He further advanced his expertise with a European Master’s Degree in Surgical Oncology, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Breast Surgery in Barcelona, along with fellowship training in breast reconstruction and microsurgical techniques.
Dr. Max’s work with Fundación Salvati and CELIP deepened his commitment to specialized lipedema care. Through collaboration with international pioneers in the field, he has helped develop science-based protocols that address the full spectrum of lipedema management—from diagnosis and patient education to advanced surgical intervention.
Known for his empathetic, patient-centered approach, Dr. Max tailors each treatment plan to the individual, whether pursuing conservative management or surgical options. His goal is not only to improve physical outcomes but to restore confidence and quality of life.
