Biography
Dr. Jason Sonners is a leading expert in hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), blending advanced knowledge in molecular biology, regenerative medicine, performance optimization, and chiropractic care. His work focuses on translating cutting-edge research into practical clinical applications that support healing, recovery, and cellular function.
Dr. Sonners earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and holds diplomate certifications from the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition (DCBCN) and the International Board of Applied Kinesiology (DIBAK). In 2025, he completed his PhD in Molecular Biology with a concentration in regenerative medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
He is the author of the Amazon best-selling book Oxygen Under Pressure, which explores the science and therapeutic applications of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Sonners serves on the board and faculty of the International Hyperbaric Association (IHA) and the International Board of Undersea Medicine (IBUM), where he trains physicians and technicians nationwide in hyperbaric protocols and clinical implementation.
Together with his wife, Dr. Melissa Sonners, he co-owns Core Therapies Family Wellness Center in Northern New Jersey and operates multiple HBOT-focused clinics, including NJ HBOT and PA HBOT. Through HBOT USA, he provides equipment, education, and certification programs for healthcare practitioners seeking to integrate hyperbaric therapy into their practices.
