Biography
Dr. Boris Volshteyn, MD, ASPS, is a double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in West Long Branch, New Jersey, with over 20 years of surgical expertise. He is widely regarded as a leading specialist in the surgical treatment of Lipedema, focusing on advanced, lymph-sparing techniques designed to alleviate pain and restore mobility for women living with this chronic condition.
Dr. Volshteyn’s approach to Lipedema is rooted in technical precision and patient-centered care. He specializes in VASER (Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance) ultrasound-assisted liposuction, a method he favors for its ability to effectively break up fibrotic Lipedema fat while meticulously preserving the delicate lymphatic system and surrounding connective tissues.
